Zoé has been working at CorrelAid since 2018, where she is responsible for management and education. She studied "Politics and Administration" and "Social and Economic Data Science" in Konstanz and Gothenburg. By the way: Her first contact with programming was at a CorrelAid workshop!

Ann-Kristin is part of the management team since July 2024 after several years working as a CorrelAid volunteer in projects and as a board member for education. She studied empirical social research in Bonn, Stuttgart and Copenhagen, worked for several years as a data scientist in the IT and financial sector and taught courses in R.

Johanna has been working at CorrelAid since the beginning of July 2024. As office manager, she is responsible for accounting, funding and contract management as well as office organization.

Data Projects & Data Consultation Hour at Civic Data Lab

Leo has been volunteering with CorrelAid since 2015 and has been a full-time employee since February 2020. Until summer 2023, he (co-)conceptualized and coordinated over 40 CorrelAid Data4Good projects. Since summer 2023, Leo has been working with service providers and civil society representatives on the implementation of data projects in the Civic Data Lab, in addition to consulting in the data consultation hour.

Nevena has been working at CorrelAid since November 2023 and primarily supports the work in the Civic Data Lab. She is jointly responsible for the technical support of the data projects.

As the Community Manager, Lena is the contact person for the volunteers and organises various event formats as part of the Civic Data Lab and for CorrelAid.

Nora has workin for CorrelAid since April 2025. Previously, she worked as a copywriter in a performance marketing agency and as a communications manager in a social startup. With her background in advertising and market communication, she wants to encourage more people to use data in a meaningful and socially effective way.

Digital Infrastructure - Civic Data Lab

Jonas supports data projects in the Civic Data Lab and takes care of CorrelAid's infrastructure. He was a working student at CorrelAid for two years and studied Governance and Public Policy and Social and Economic Data Science in Passau and Konstanz.

Isabel Willmann

Head of Community Management

Isabel works as the Head of Community Management at CorrelAid and cares about the well-being of our volunteers. She acts as your first point of contact as a volunteer at CorrelAid. Isabel also coordinates the CorrelAidX local groups and ensures that our network grows and thrives. Isabel is interested in the operational development of our network in close dialogue with our community. As a certified mediator, she is as passionate about communication at eye level as she is about valuing diversity and variety.

Antje has been a Project Manager Data Literacy at CorrelAid since July 2024 and is responsible for the revision and implementation of the "Understanding and Using Data" course. She is a mathematician and has worked in various data-related roles for over 8 years and is now happy to be able to live out her passion for imparting knowledge at CorrelAid.

Nora has been a working student in the education department at CorrelAid since June 2025. She is studying Cognitive Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt. She brings her enthusiasm for storytelling, education for sustainable development and data visualisation to the development of a new course on data storytelling and impact management.

Antonia has been supporting CorrelAid in the area of fundraising since June 2025. She brings experience from the civil society sector and philanthropy.

Working student - Data 101

Lisa has been working in the education department at CorrelAid e.V. since July 2025. After completing her bachelor's degree in psychology, she is now studying human factors at Chemnitz University of Technology. Her work on the new “Understanding Data” course combines her enthusiasm for data analysis and designing effective learning formats with social impact.

Jael has been working as a student trainee in the education department at CorrelAid since December 2025. She is studying for a master's degree in sociology at the University of Konstanz and has experience in quantitative data analysis.

The Board

The elected board of CorrelAid e.V., the non-profit association, consists of CorrelAid volunteers. They work together with the remote office and develop the long-term strategy for CorrelAid.

Sylvi joined CorrelAid in 2019. First she was co-lead of the LC Berlin, then tutor in the “RLernen” course and now she is responsible for finances on the board. Professionally, as a data scientist at Deutsche Bahn, she tries to contribute to the establishment of the #MachAusDatenTaten spirit.

Philipp works by day as a data scientist for the Statistical Office of the Canton of Zurich and is trying to establish a data culture in public administration. He has already worn many hats at CorrelAid. But his favorite part has always been imparting knowledge. That is why he is mainly involved in education on the Board.

Sarah Risse

Data4Good Projects

Sarah made her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, taught data analysis and statistics with R (R Studio) at the university and is currently evaluating a mentoring program at the Technical University Berlin. In the course of her further education as a data scientist she came to CorrelAid in summer 2023 and is since 2024 volunteering as a board member to coordinate the data4good projects.

Andreas has been involved in Data4Good at CorrelAid since 2020. He is currently co-coordinator of the DataViz learning group CorrelAid TidyTuesday and is jointly responsible for community work on the board. His main job is as a data analyst at a large online mail order company.

Sören is a freelance data analyst and specializes in the analysis of language and geodata. He has been active at CorrelAid since 2022 and has organized CorrelCon, among other things. On the board, Sören is the contact person for the CorrelAid community and unofficial Dino representative.
