Data4Good Projects
At the heart of CorrelAid is our Data4Good community of over 2400 data science volunteers who want to use their skills for good causes.
In our pro bono skilled volunteering projects, we match teams of 3-8 of these volunteers with nonprofits and initiatives that need support with their data challenges. This creates a win-win situation: on the one hand, our data science volunteers get the opportunity to apply and expand their skills. At the same time, nonprofit organizations and initiatives receive support in solving their data challenges.
Both the domain expertise of our project partners and the technical expertise of our volunteers are equally important to the success of our projects. That’s why we always work on eye level with our nonprofit partners.
We present some of the over 70 projects already finished in the projects database.
How do we organize our projects?
We organize our projects within our project cycle framework. The project cycle groups several Data4Good projects together and starts twice a year, in early fall (September/October) and spring (March/April). The length of each Data4Good project within the project cycle varies, but they usually last 4-8 months.
