Volunteering

We are more than 2,400 data enthusiasts who share our knowledge and experience for the common good. Whether in projects, workshops, or local events, we bring data literacy to civil society.

Become part of our Data4Good community! We look forward to welcoming everyone who wants to learn about our mission and help us advance it.

CorrelAid e.V.

Behind the work of CorrelAid stands the non-profit association CorrelAid e.V. Founded in 2015 in Konstanz on Lake Constance, the association has made it its mission to bring together people with enthusiasm for data. We offer an effective way to get involved in the field of Data4Good and support other non-profit organizations in their work with data. Would you like to become part of CorrelAid or support our work? Association Work

In addition to data science work within the association, we are always looking for volunteers for strategic, ethical, or financial decisions at CorrelAid e.V.:

  • Our board is elected once a year by the general assembly and consists of seven members: Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Treasurer, and up to four additional members who are each responsible for their own topic areas such as education, community, or data projects. They are supported in their work by employed management and meet online once a month.
  • The Ethics Commission consists of up to five members and is also elected by the general assembly. Upon request, it can check whether CorrelAid activities comply with our Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics and is responsible for its maintenance.
  • As a member of the association, you can elect these bodies, be elected yourself, and vote on important association decisions once a year at our general assembly.
