Assessing the quality of OpenStreetMap data for drinking fountains
This project aimed to analyze Open Street Maps (OSM) data on drinking fountains in Germany. The focus was on determining the number of listed drinking points per 1000 inhabitants in various cities and comparing this data with the official numbers provided by some cities. The quality of metadata was also assessed by comparing it with the defined mandatory information, including attributes such as fountain type, refillable bottle option, accessibility, public accessibility, and descriptive information.
